About the store
Our journey began many years ago as part of the renowned Expert franchise. After it closed, in March 2014 we took a new step forward and opened our own store, joining the Milar chain..
Since then, we have been dedicated to offering our customers a comprehensive service: sales of appliances and kitchen furniture, as well as complete kitchen and bathroom renovation projects. In addition, we work with aerothermal and air conditioning systems, always in collaboration with specialized companies and in accordance with the regulations authorized by the Ministry of Industry, guaranteeing quality, safety, and reliability..
Tips to keep in mind with a refrigerator
1. Type of refrigerator
Combi (refrigerator on top + freezer on bottom): the most common, practical if you use the refrigerator more than the freezer.
Two doors (top freezer): these are usually cheaper and more compact.
Side by Side (American door): large, with freezer on one side and refrigerator on the other. Ideal for large families, but use more space and energy.
2. Capacity
1-2 people: 150-250 L.
3-4 people: 250-350 L.
Large families: +400 L.
👉 Check the measurements of the available space in your kitchen, leaving at least 5 cm around it for ventilation.
3. Energy efficiency
The higher the rating (A, B, C.... on the new EU scale), less electricity consumption.
La diferencia en el recibo de la luz puede ser importante a largo plazo.
4. Useful Features
No Frost: prevents frost in the freezer.
MultiAirflow / Total No Frost: even cold distribution.
Adjustable humidity drawers: keep fruits and vegetables fresh for longer.
Vacation mode: saves energy when you're not at home.
External screen / WiFi connectivity: extra convenience, although they increase the price.
5. Noise level
It is measured in dB.
Menos de 40 dB = quiet. Important if your kitchen is open to the living room.
6. Design and finish
Stainless steel: modern and durable (although fingerprints are more noticeable).
Traditional white: more economical.
Integrated: they blend in with the kitchen furniture.
7. Indicative price (2025)
Budget-friendly: €250 – €400 (basic, 2-door or small combi).
Mid-range: €400 – €900 (large combi, good energy consumption, No Frost).
High-end: €1000 hereafter (Side by Side, French Door, smart functions).
Differences between inverter and conventional motors
1. Conventional Engine
It works with the ON/OFF system.
When the temperature rises, the compressor runs at full power until it reaches the programmed level, and then shuts off completely..
This cycle repeats constantly.
Advantages:
Cheaper on the initial purchase.
Proven and simple technology.
Disadvantages:
Higher electricity consumption, because each start-up uses a significant amount of energy..
More noise (when starting and stopping).
Shorter lifespan due to wear and tear on ignition systems.
Temperature fluctuations inside the refrigerator (less stable for food preservation).
2. Inverter Motor
The compressor does not switch off and on abruptly, but modulates its speed according to the cooling needs..
It works continuously and stably, adjusting its power.
Advantages:
Energy saving (consumes up to 30–40% less than a conventional one).
Quieter, because there are no sudden starts.
Longer lifespan, due to reduced wear and tear.
Stable temperature, which better preserves food.
Some allow soft start even at low voltages (useful in areas with electrical fluctuations).
Disadvantages:
Higher starting price.
More expensive repairs if the compressor breaks down (although they usually last longer).
